The Bench Warmer Golf Club is a Sothern California Golf Association Club (SCGA) Member Club. When joining you will also become an SCGA Member! Our membership chair will use your application information to establish your Bench Warmer GC membership with the SCGA.
New Members need a recommendation by a current member and approval by the board.

Cost to join: The new member fee is $101. It includes both our club dues ($60) and your initial SCGA fee ($41). Please do not include the fee with your application. Once the board approves your membership, the membership chair will contact you with payment information.

DownloadThe Bench Warmer Golf Club is a SCGA Member Club, so there are two membership fees; One collected by the SCGA ($41 per member for 2025) for each member of the club, and one collected by the Bench Warmer Golf Club ($60 per member for 2025). You must pay both to be a member of the BWGC.
The BWGC dues are used to run tournaments, provide prize money and help with the end of year party, etc. All funds are used for the benefit of the members. The Club is managed and coordinated by volunteers (so next time you see one, be sure to say "thanks").
The SCGA fee is required by the SCGA for each member of our club even if you are a member of another SCGA club. The BWGC will collect the fee for new members to establish their membership. Returning members will be billed annually for the SCGA portion by the SCGA. If you are already a member of an SCGA Club, multi-club SCGA rebates from the SCGA are available.
In order to play in tournaments, and be a member of The Bench Warmer GC, you must pay both the Club dues and SCGA fee!
